Customer Service Associate, Part-Time Contract | Lonely Planet

This is a remote, part-time contract position based in the United States.

Lonely Planet is looking to hire a Part-Time Customer Service Associate for the upcoming holiday season. The Lonely Planet Customer Service Associate is responsible for liaising with Lonely Planet customers to provide up-to-date and informative product information to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities. This role will be responsible for day-to-day online sales activities, order processing, managing returns and refunds, escalation of issues.

What You’ll Do:

• Read and reply to all customer inquiries and complaints via email or telephone in a professional, proactive, and friendly manner. Inquiries include: order delivery questions, billing inquiries, article, site, and book feedback tickets, Lonely Planet App questions, Journeys traveler questions, etc.
• Liaise with our third-party warehouses to oversee the successful delivery of parcels in a timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Lonely Planet products and services
