Accounts Payable Clerk

Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Accounts Payable Clerk for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own supplier invoices and payment runs.

Role overview

You will own supplier invoices for a UK business from receipt to payment, keeping suppliers paid correctly and on time. This is a full-time, 100% remote role for South African talent, working UK hours: 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST).

Key responsibilities

• Capture and code supplier invoices
• Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
• Prepare payment runs for approval
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Answer supplier queries

What you'll need

• Experience in accounts payable or creditors
• Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with UK VAT
• Experience with Dext or Hubdoc
• Experience with expense claims
