Business Development Assistant

Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Business Development Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own the groundwork behind a UK sales team’s new business — researched prospect lists, clean CRM data and follow-ups that actually happen.

This suits someone curious and persistent who wants a route into business development with a UK company from home in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build target prospect lists
• Qualify inbound enquiries and route them to the right person
• Send follow-up emails and LinkedIn messages to warm contacts
• Keep CRM records and activity notes accurate
• Book meetings into the sales team’s diaries
• Prepare simple market and competitor summaries

What you'll need

• Experience in a sales support, lead generation or research role
• Experience with a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive
• Confident written English for outbound emails
• Organised, with the persistence to follow up properly
• A reliable fibre connection, a working laptop and a quiet place to work

Nice to have

• Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo
• Exposure to B2B or UK markets
• Experience with email sequencing tools
