Content Assistant

Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Content Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning day-to-day content drafting and publishing.

Role overview

You will help create and publish content across blogs, social media and email, keeping the content calendar on track.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and proofread content for blogs, social media and email
• Maintain and update the content calendar
• Format and publish content across platforms
• Support basic graphic creation using Canva or similar tools
• Research topics and gather content ideas
• Track content performance and report on key metrics

What you will need

• Experience writing or editing content for online audiences
• Strong written English with good grammar and attention to detail
• Experience with Canva or a similar design tool
• Comfortable using a content management system (WordPress or similar)
• Comfortable working UK business hours

Nice to have

• Basic SEO knowledge
• Experience scheduling social media content
• Interest in copywriting or content marketing
