Logistics Coordinator

Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will keep a UK supply chain moving — bookings, carriers, exceptions and all.

Role overview

You'll coordinate shipments end to end, book carriers, track consignments and sort out the problems that appear mid-transit. When something goes wrong at 3pm, you're the person who already has a plan.

Key responsibilities

• Book and schedule shipments with carriers and freight partners
• Track consignments and proactively flag delays
• Resolve delivery exceptions, damages and shortages
• Maintain shipping documentation and delivery records
• Report on carrier performance and delivery costs

What you'll need

• Experience in logistics, freight, shipping or supply chain coordination
• Experience with a WMS, TMS or ERP system
• Confident with spreadsheets for tracking and reporting
• Calm problem-solving when shipments go wrong
• A quiet home workspace and stable fibre connection

Nice to have

• Experience with UK or EU freight and customs documentation
• Familiarity with SAP, NetSuite or similar ERP
• Experience coordinating multi-carrier networks
