• Building new cloud-native applications and scalable infrastructure
• Utilizing AI and ML to power advanced search capabilities
• Large-scale data processing; data modelling; holistic, intent-based API design
• Stateful and stateless servers, relational databases, ORM frameworks

Areas of responsibilities: 

• Work with the team to establish staffing, goals, timelines, and expectations. Best practices for performance and problem-solving should be leveraged throughout
• Take the lead in proposing and launching new development projects and encourage your team to propose ideas, too
• Oversee high-level technical approaches, architecture, and feature delivery
• Establish easy, open relationships with other managers, teams and all groups within Altium can help clear a path for your team’s progress and keep everyone informed
•  Ensure a strong connection between engineering and the business of Altium, to work in partnership with Platform Engineering and Product Management teams
   

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For:

• You have a solid software development background (.Net technology stack), preferably in cloud software and Software as a Service
• You’re a natural problem solver with strong leadership skills, able to guide others in successful approaches to problems and maintain a productive, creative problem-solving environment
• You can work at speed and under pressure, which comes naturally, never slowing down for changing business needs, client needs, or technologies
• You’re a natural at cooperating with Product Management, Customer Support, DevOps, and other stakeholders
• You can solve technical and non-technical problems and consider decisions collaboratively

 ECAD/EDA/CAD software or PCB design experience and UX experience would help would be a plus
