Summary of job description:

As a product and disease state expert within Medical Affairs, the Director, Medical Publications and Scientific Communications, will provide medical, scientific, and technical expertise to support scientific communications planning and to provide essential medical support in all facets of product lifecycle. S/he will develop, manage and track scientific communications plans, including: the development and review of publications, abstracts, and congress presentations for medical and scientific content accuracy. S/he will ensure compliance with publication-related policies and procedures and will contribute to building a best-in-class medical communication organization at Replimune. S/he will ensure that data generated from corporate- and investigator-sponsored studies with Replimune products are communicated in an accurate, timely, compliant and compelling manner.

Key responsibilities:

· In collaboration with clinical team and relevant stakeholders, will refine and ensure successful implementation of a scientific communication platform and medical communication plan for Replimune.

· Assist in the development/review of content for abstracts, publications, congress presentations, monographs, etc.

· Remain up-to-date on the latest science/data in the field and contribute significantly to the creation, collection, and dissemination of actionable business-relevant scientific insights to key stakeholders across the organization and key customer segments, especially in support of critical product launches

· Develop in-depth therapeutic knowledge of disease, epidemiology, product, and competitor product information; act as a resource to others external to Medical Affairs.

· Create and/or review communications containing medical and scientific content intended for internal and external for accuracy and strategic alignment

· Proactively reach out and collaborate closely with members of other internal teams

· Identify, collect and provide relevant information and input into business activities such as product and competitor insights, medical product plan and deliverables, new business assessments and other requests

· Serve as authoritative source of medical/scientific expertise and oversee the collection and storage of relevant scientific information (e.g. literature repository, Replimune data, etc.)

Other responsibilities:

Educational requirements:

· A relevant scientific or healthcare degree is required (eg, PhD or PharmD)

Experience and skill requirement:

· > 5 years in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably within a matrix structure

· > 3 years of experience within Medical Affairs roles, preferably in a communication / publication role.

· Experience managing vendors and projects is preferred

· Good knowledge of medical communications approaches and best practices is required.

· Familiarity with regulatory and legal guidelines regarding medical communications strategy and execution

· Demonstrates and models excellent performance in the medical communications role.

· Takes initiative and works independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and limited resources

· Ability to read, interpret, and convey complex scientific information

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work collaboratively towards a common goal

· Experience working in a team environment

· Demonstrated results orientation and problem-solving skills

· Domestic and International travel in support of Medical Affairs initiatives may be required (20%)

This position can be either hybrid or remote.

Salary Range

Replimune is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $208,000-$269,000. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s unique set of qualifications, skills, and experience. Our current organizational needs also play a part in determining your final offer.

At Replimune, base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The selected candidate will be eligible for an annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity. Replimune also offers various benefits offerings, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k match, flexible time off, and a number of paid holidays including year-end shutdown.
