Energy Modeling Consultant

Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Modeling Consultant to support our Inflation Reduction Act Program field delivery in Arizona. As an early key hire in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality energy assessments and ensuring quality energy modeling for our HOMES and HEAR programs. These programs will provide comprehensive in-home energy audits with a focus on income-based program participants and collaboration with contractor networks. Your oversight will extend to residential weatherization, HVAC, and water heating installation inspections, as you review QA/QC findings to ensure program integrity. This role will be a hybrid of a field and remote office position. 

You are a key role in serving as the liaison between the Energy Auditor field team and the software platform used for energy modeling. Following the comprehensive in-home energy assessment, you will take on responsibility for reviewing project inputs, calibrating the modeling software and finalizing the selected equipment with the customer.  

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in energy auditing, energy modeling/data analysis and project management. Strong leadership skills, a focus on team building and customer service, and knowledge of relevant standards and practices, particularly BPI certifications, are essential.
