River Cleanup is a global nonprofit working toward a clear goal: plastic-free rivers. We bring communities together to clean rivers today and keep them clean for the future. Through cleanups, prevention, data and community-led solutions, we take action on plastic pollution while building long-term solutions that stop waste before it reaches our rivers. ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Social Media & Community Coordinator to bring River Cleanup's stories, campaigns and impact to life across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. This is a hands-on role covering the full day-to-day social media cycle: planning, creating, publishing, engaging, promoting and reporting. You'll write copy, create visual content, shoot and edit short-form video, manage our online community and execute paid social campaigns. You'll work within the social media and campaign strategies set by the Director of Digital Marketing & Communications while bringing your own creativity, ideas and understanding of what works on social. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, plans ahead and keeps things moving.
