Robinhood’s Crypto team owns how customers experience crypto at Robinhood, from buying their first coin to trading actively and going onchain with products that bring centralized and decentralized finance together.
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own design strategy and execution across retail crypto trading as well as support our onchain experiences. You’ll balance ambitious 0-to-1 bets that define new categories with the iterative, detail-driven work that makes our existing products faster, clearer, and more reliable. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, compliance, and legal, and help shape the long-term vision for retail crypto at Robinhood.
Design at Robinhood is AI-first. This role is for someone who already uses AI as a core part of how they think, explore, and execute.
This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you'll do
- Lead and execute the product design strategy for our retail crypto experiences, balancing new bets with iterative improvements to our core surfaces.
- Collaborate directly with engineering, product, design leadership, and legal and compliance partners from initial concept to final launch.
- Bring clarity to complexity by turning complex concepts into highly usable and intuitive experiences that work for first-time users and crypto natives alike.
- Use AI to explore problem spaces, surface edge cases, and prototype quickly, while you guide intent, structure, and quality.
- Uphold the craft bar, and help set the standard for design quality across the crypto team.
What you bring
- Strong product design experience working on complex, consumer-facing products with end-to-end ownership
- Active use of AI in your design workflow
- Solid systems thinking, balancing detail with the big picture
- Experience partnering with engineering, product, research, legal, and compliance in a highly regulated environment
- A strong bias for action: able to find the next step and move forward through ambiguity.
- Crypto curiosity— deep expertise isn't required, but fluency and eagerness to learn is required

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
