In 2026, Rodeo FX opened its newest studio in Bengaluru, expanding our global network across Canada, the United States, Europe and India. Located in International Tech Park Bengaluru, the new 40,000-square-foot studio is designed to accommodate up to 400 artists and supports both Rodeo FX and Mikros Animation.

Our Bengaluru team is fully integrated into Rodeo FX's global pipeline, collaborating with artists, supervisors and production teams across our international studios on incredible projects.

Job Description

The Regional Head of Technology is the senior Technology leader representing Rodeo FX across its growing operations in India.

Based in Bengaluru, this person provides day-to-day regional leadership and coordination while working within Rodeo FX’s global Technology organization. They partner closely with the Chief Technology Officer, Global Technology leaders, the India Head of Studio, Production and Creative leadership to ensure Technology capabilities, services and priorities effectively support the studio.

The role operates within a matrixed structure. Technology professionals based in India may report functionally to different Global Technology leaders, while the Regional Head of Technology provides local leadership, coordination, communication and operational support.

Beyond supporting current operations, this person will help shape what Technology in India can become for Rodeo FX: building regional capabilities, growing the Technology team and identifying opportunities for India to contribute more broadly to Rodeo FX’s global organization.

The mandate currently centers on Bengaluru but extends to Rodeo FX’s broader Technology footprint in India, including future offices, infrastructure and regional operations.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership & Team Growth

• Act as the senior Technology representative in India and primary local point of contact for Technology-related matters.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination for India-based Technology employees, including team members who report functionally to Global Technology leaders.
• Maintain clear communication and alignment between regional employees, their functional leaders and studio leadership.
• Help employees navigate priorities, operational concerns and escalation paths when their functional leaders are not locally available.
• Partner with Global Technology leaders to determine the structure, capabilities and resources required as Rodeo FX’s presence in India grows.
• Identify opportunities to expand Technology capabilities in India and increase the region’s contribution to Rodeo FX globally.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources on workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and integration of Technology talent.
• Help build a strong, collaborative Technology community in India with appropriate coverage and continuity for business-critical operations.

Production & Studio Partnership

• Act as the senior Technology partner to the India Head of Studio, Production, Creative and other regional leaders.
• Develop a strong understanding of production workflows, artist requirements and operational challenges to ensure Technology priorities remain aligned with studio needs.
• Serve as a trusted local resource who can resolve Technology questions directly or connect stakeholders with the appropriate global expertise.
• Anticipate Technology requirements associated with production ramps, new projects and regional growth.
• Partner with Global Technology teams to improve production workflows, tools, infrastructure and the overall artist experience.
• Provide local leadership during significant Technology issues, ensuring clear ownership, appropriate escalation and timely communication.
• Help Studio and Production leadership understand Technology constraints, dependencies, risks and opportunities and encourage proactive planning across teams.

Global Strategy & Regional Execution

• Translate Rodeo FX’s global Technology strategy, architecture and standards into effective regional execution.
• Represent India’s operational, production and growth requirements in global Technology planning and discussions.
• Coordinate regional priorities with the appropriate global functional leaders, balancing global standards with regional realities.
• Contribute regional insight across infrastructure, systems, security, networking, storage, compute, production technology, engineering, pipeline and emerging technologies.
• Support the rollout and adoption of global Technology initiatives and platforms in India.
• Identify capabilities that could be developed in India to support other Rodeo FX studios and global Technology functions.
• Participate in the evaluation of new technologies, solutions and vendors where regional expertise or implementation is required.

Technology Operations & Delivery

• Help ensure Rodeo FX’s India operations have reliable, secure, scalable and production-ready technology.
• Coordinate the performance of regional Technology services, infrastructure, systems and production-facing technology with the appropriate Global Technology teams.
• Support prioritization, planning and delivery of regional Technology initiatives, identifying risks and escalating issues when required.
• Promote effective documentation, monitoring, support, incident management and operational practices.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Systems and Information Security leaders to ensure regional Technology assets, systems and data meet Rodeo FX’s security and resilience requirements.
• Support effective testing, implementation, communication and adoption of new technologies and systems.
• Contribute to incident reviews, regional Technology budget planning, vendor evaluation, procurement and supplier relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, automation, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness without compromising production reliability.
• Help develop follow-the-sun operating models and extended Technology support coverage as Rodeo FX’s capabilities in India grow.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Technology experience, including significant experience in senior technical leadership, coordination or management roles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Broad understanding of complex Technology environments, including infrastructure, systems, security, networking, storage, compute and production technologies.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple Technology disciplines without needing to be the functional expert in every area.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Technology, Production, Creative and Executive stakeholders.
• Strong leadership presence with demonstrated ability to influence, coordinate and build alignment in a matrixed environment without relying solely on formal authority.
• Proactive and collaborative working style, with the ability to anticipate issues and drive problems toward resolution.
• Demonstrated experience building teams, capabilities or operations within a growing or evolving environment.
• Experience delivering Technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of operational reliability, scalability, security and Technology service delivery.
• Strong judgment and ability to balance regional needs with broader organizational priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience with budgets, resource planning, vendors or Technology investments is an asset.
• Experience within VFX, animation, media & entertainment, gaming or another complex digital production environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with VFX production workflows, pipeline, production technologies or high-performance compute environments is a strong asset.
• Experience working within India while collaborating with international teams and stakeholders is a strong asset
