Mill Maintenance Superintendent
Role Summary
Lead and coordinate mill mechanical maintenance and planning activities to maximize plant availability, equipment reliability, and production performance while ensuring safe and cost-effective use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
Manage mechanical maintenance and planning activities to maximize plant availability and control costs.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures, standards, and best practices for mill equipment.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical equipment failures and repairs.
Ensure adequate manpower, training, equipment, and resources are available to meet maintenance requirements.
Coordinate mechanical activities with other departments and support mill projects, equipment installation, repair, and rebuilds.
Monitor maintenance performance, conduct equipment audits, and drive continuous improvement.
Lead and develop the mechanical team, promoting safety, teamwork, accountability, and performance.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field, or relevant trade/technical qualification.
