Substitute Teacher Position

Rye Country Day School is seeking substitute teachers. Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, PreK-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

●      Work on an as-needed basis in the Lower, Middle, or Upper School classrooms

●      Collaborate with RCDS administrators and teachers to deliver instruction, manage classrooms, and maintain student safety

●      Collect and safeguard classroom materials

●      Communicate with RCDS administrators and teachers such that they may share information with students and families during teacher absences

Desired Qualifications:

●      Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree a plus
