About the Opportunity

If you're an accountant who wants exposure to Australian public practice, working directly with an Australian accounting firm and their clients.

S&B Private is the Colombo office of a growing Australian Chartered Accounting practice based in Melbourne, Australia. We are building a team of talented accountants who want front office experience, genuine career development, and a workplace that backs them for the long term.

In this role, you will work as a core member of an Australian accounting firm's team, not as a remote support function. The responsibilities will include end to end involvement in tax compliance, financial statement preparation and client reporting across a diverse portfolio of Australian individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.

Learning is built into how we work. We run weekly technical training sessions covering Australian accounting standards, tax, and finance best practices. Training has always been at the forefront of what we do at S&B Private. As your experience grows, so does your role in these sessions, with the opportunity to research and present your own topics to your peers.

You will also contribute to projects involving automation, technology improvements, and smarter ways of delivering compliance work, helping the firms we work with build more efficient, scalable practices.
