Assistant Underwriter

This role will be onsite for a minimum of 3 days a week in our Tampa, FL office.

 

What you’d be doing: 

• Supports Underwriters by performing various data collection and file preparation work. Preview and prepare SOV (statement of values) and successfully ingest it into the system for Underwriting review and pricing.
• Pursues missing information from applications, endorsements, and other written correspondence by contacting brokers, agents, and customers for resolution.
• Underwrites endorsement, reinstatement, and cancellation transactions, all within prescribed authority levels.
• Process underwriting endorsements within underwriting authority.
