Job Description

Company Description

Founded in 1999 by two brothers with a bold idea that good data can do great things, SALIX Data has grown into a trusted global partner serving more than 2,500 clients worldwide. Operating at the intersection of precision and purpose, we deliver Business Process Outsourcing, Forensic Collection, E-Discovery Processing, Cybersecurity, and Workflow Automation services, stepping in when the stakes are high and accuracy cannot be compromised. What truly distinguishes us is not just our technology, but our people. We do not hire to fill seats; we seek thinkers and builders who question, improve, and take ownership. By placing the right people in the right seats, we create the conditions where excellence follows naturally. Here, ideas are valued, growth is intentional, and roles are platforms for meaningful contribution rather than rigid boxes. The work is real, the expectations are high, and the impact is visible. SALIX stands for Service, Achievement, Leadership, Integrity, and eXpertise, principles that guide how we serve our clients and how we show up for one another every day.

SALIX Data is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and results-driven Project Manager to independently manage technical and operational projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and deliverables, and ensure clear communication between clients, developers, operations, and leadership.

This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate risks, resolve challenges, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be accountable for keeping projects on track, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting, and ensuring consistent delivery standards in a fast-paced environment

Job Description

  • Independently manage a wide range of internal and external projects from kickoff through completion.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, task lists, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with developers, operations, associates, and other departments to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Monitor milestones, task progress, and deliverable status; prepare regular updates and present project status to leadership.
  • Identify potential roadblocks early, escalate issues when needed, and track resolution steps to mitigate project risks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, approvals, and communications, and ensure everything is stored appropriately.
  • Submit weekly Capacity Reports, update the New Business Report post-SOW, and complete Service Failure Reports when applicable.
  • Work with Senior PMs to resolve escalations, align on strategic direction, or request additional resources.
  • Participate in process enhancements, team initiatives, and help refine project management practices across the company.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the adoption of project management best practices and tools.

Qualifications

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, Project Coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
  • Experience working with technical teams and technology-driven projects.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as ClickUp, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have

  • Project management certification (CAPM, Scrum Master, PMP, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Experience in BPO, data operations, technology services, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with software development, lifecycles, and technical workflows.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and project performance metrics.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

This role is likely a strong fit if you:

  • Have successfully led technology, software implementation, automation, digital transformation, business transformation, or operational improvement projects.
  • Have experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, including executives, clients, technical teams, and operational leaders.
  • Have personally owned project delivery and outcomes, not just project administration.
  • Can confidently lead projects where requirements evolve over time and not everything is clearly defined from day one.
  • Enjoy solving complex business challenges and bringing structure to ambiguity.
  • Are comfortable driving accountability and influencing decisions across teams.
  • Have experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, planning discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Enjoy helping people adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Take ownership, work independently, and consistently follow through on commitments.

This Role Is Probably Not For You If

  • You have primarily worked in project administration, project coordination, scheduling, or meeting support roles without direct responsibility for project outcomes.
  • You are looking for a role where project requirements, timelines, and direction are fully defined before work begins.
  • You prefer executing assigned tasks rather than driving accountability and decision-making across stakeholders.
  • You are uncomfortable presenting recommendations, risks, and project updates to senior leaders or clients.
  • You prefer individual contributor work over leading cross-functional collaboration.
  • You have limited experience managing initiatives involving people, processes, technology, and organizational change.
  • You are seeking a software engineering, technical support, systems administration, or business analyst role without project leadership responsibilities.
