About the role
Salt Square is looking for an IT Engineer to join our infrastructure and security team supporting a US healthcare client. You will execute hands-on remediation and cleanup work across a Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, working under the guidance of our senior engineers who own the architecture and policy decisions. This is a great role for someone with a few years of IT administration experience who wants to grow into cloud identity and security engineering.
What you will do
Remediate and re-enrol Windows devices in Intune and restore endpoint security agents (CrowdStrike) on devices that have stopped reporting
Clean up stale guest accounts, unused licences and inactive user accounts in Entra ID
Review SharePoint and OneDrive sites: ownership, external sharing, inactive-site archiving and leaver data handover
Work through remediation tickets, document what was done and keep runbooks up to date
Support senior engineers during testing and rollout of Conditional Access, compliance and update policies
Flag anomalies and risks you find during cleanup work
