ECT Administrator

An ECT admin, or Electroconvulsive Therapy administrator, is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of ECT treatments, including patient scheduling, record-keeping, communication with healthcare teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to the ECT medical team during procedures, all while prioritizing patient safety and confidentiality. Essential Duties:

·         Managing patient appointments for ECT treatments, coordinating with other healthcare providers to schedule necessary pre- and post-treatment assessments, and ensuring timely communication regarding appointment details.

·         Maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records, including medical history, consent forms, treatment plans, and ECT procedure documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

·         Assisting the medical team in obtaining informed consent from patients regarding ECT treatment, explaining procedures and potential risks and benefits clearly.
