• EMC Qualification & Certification (EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning, Electrostatics)
• RTCA DO-160, SAE ARPs, FAA/TCCA/EASA Regulations
• EMC Analysis, Compliance & Certification Reports
• Aircraft OEM / Aerospace EMC Experience
• EMC Testing, Validation & Design Reviews

Responsibilities

• Execute complex engineering assignments related to EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning, and Electrostatics including performing detailed analyses using similarity assessments, simulation, and/or analytical methods.
• Help drive the resolution of electromagnetic related issues to support EMC certification and sustaining activities to support production and in-service.
• Define scope of work and EMC effort for engineering projects, plan activities/milestones, highlight technical risks, and complete tasks according to priorities.
• Analyze new and/or modified system or structure designs to assess technical engineering impacts and propose EMC compliance approaches. Review associated engineering documentation such as test procedures, test reports and analysis reports. Verify compliance with certification regulations and recommend for approval.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and interns.
• Support creation and updating of technical requirements for EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning, and Electrostatics.
