Work Location & Environment: On-site presence in datacenters and direct contact with suppliers. The scope covers 2 clusters split across 2 main bases: Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (North Region) and Vitry-sur-Seine (South Region).
YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
Hardware Maintenance & Assembly: Assemble, rack, cable, and configure servers and hardware equipment within strictly regulated datacenter spaces.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Perform hardware diagnostics, component replacements, and fiber/copper cable testing using optical tracers and reflectometers.
On-Site Coordination & Escorts: Serve as the primary operational link on-site, escorting and supervising external subcontractors, suppliers (e.g., Opcore).
Service Desk & Asset Management: Log, process, and update internal tickets, asset tracking, and maintenance documentation using Jira Service Management, Odoo, and Google Sheets.
Operational Vigilance: Maintain continuous vigilance regarding hardware handling and site access (badges, high-value component safety), proactively raising alerts on operational issues to safeguard company interests.
ABOUT YOU
HARD SKILLS:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware maintenance, hardware support, or datacenter technician roles.
Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in IT hardware troubleshooting, hardware assembly, diagnostics, and cabling (copper and optical fiber testing, reflectometer, optical tracer).
Tools & OS: Comfortable using Jira Service Management, Odoo, and Google Sheets.
Driver's License: Active B-category driver's license is required for operational travel across sites.
SOFT SKILLS:
Strong Service Mindset: High dedication to serving internal clients, maintaining transparency, and explaining resolution paths clearly when requests cannot be met immediately.
