LVT Director of OR

The LVT Director of OR is part of the hospital clinical service team who oversees operations and provides strategic leadership and provides organization, direction, management and evaluation of patient care services for the Surgery department. The Director is responsible for process improvement activities and reporting of key performance indicators. 

List duties and responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the clinical, operational and financial management of the surgery operating rooms, prep, & recovery
• Develops action plans and reports outcomes to the Senior LVT Director of Perioperative Services
• Budgetary or fiscal accountability and is responsible 24 hours a day for the ongoing effective operation of units
• Partner with the hospital leadership team to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, staff development and career ladders ensure meeting of national standards and state regulatory requirements and give input to strategic decisions related to clinical nursing staff developmen
