Job Description
  • Understand the product, its users, business goals, and the broader ecosystem it sits within.
  • Turn vague or incomplete briefs into clear product opportunities, concepts, and experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing products, not just execute requested features.
  • Design and evolve new features from initial idea through to detailed interaction and UI design.
  • Think across the full user journey and understand how new features affect the wider product.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape what should be built, not only how it should look.
  • Use research, data, customer feedback, and product context to inform design decisions.
  • Create flows, prototypes, interaction models, and polished final designs.
  • Balance user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and product consistency.
  • Challenge assumptions when necessary and bring a strong point of view to product decisions.
  • Contribute to design systems and patterns that make the product more coherent and scalable.
  • Follow products through implementation and help ensure the final experience reflects the intended design quality.
  • Communicate your thinking clearly and explain the reasoning behind your design decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in product design, UX, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong experience designing digital products, with a portfolio showing real product thinking and shipped work.
  • Someone who can take ownership of a problem with limited direction and create clarity from ambiguity.
  • Strong understanding of product design principles, UX, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
  • Ability to think beyond individual features and understand how products work as connected systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, Research, and other disciplines.
  • Comfortable questioning the brief and proposing better solutions when the original request does not fully solve the problem.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger product picture.
  • Ability to move between strategy, UX thinking, interaction design, and high-fidelity execution.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where problems are not always clearly defined and the best solution is discovered through exploration.
