Job Description
The Client Service Project Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and execution of LIMS, operations, quality and client service projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. This role supports organizational goals by leading LIMS improvements, implementing new capabilities, managing client data transfers, and supporting various environmental monitoring systems. Additionally, the position plays a key role in acquisition integrations and business development activities.
- Monitor project progress and deliver status reports, timelines, issues, risks and action items to stakeholders and team members
- Develop, maintain, and participate in project plan for lab implementation of LIMS system and projects enhancing functionality of LIMS system
- Assist in acquisition activities and lead LIIMS integration projects to ensure project deliverables are met
- Understands all applicable aspects of the project, including rationale for the project, regulations that affect the project, different methods employed by the client and laboratory to produce result –
- Coordinate implementation of quality software platform across all food laboratories and manage and communicate enhancements to the software package
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements within the Laboratory Information Management System
- Trend, track and report operational KPI’s, quality parameters, errors and progress on projects to upper management
- Mentor and train employees on LIMS functions; assess training needs and competencies across the business
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or closely related field
- 7–10 years in a supervisory or Poject Managemnt role within a laboratory or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
