- Cut, chop, grind test samples to the required specifications and within the required time frame. Make sure the sample is prepared on time and correctly.
- Label each sample container with the unique sample identity.
- Keep all records and notebooks in good order including date of grinding, date of sample storage and sample storage location.
- Support store keeper to clean the store and transfer test sample from the sample preparation room to store.
- Ensure that the sample preparation room is kept tidy and that all equipment is switched off at the end of the day.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Team leader/Lab supervisor/Manager.
- Other tasks assigned by Supervisor/ Manager.
