Sr Product Designer

About the role (Remote)

We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our global UX team. You'll own design within your product cluster — working directly with the engineers and PMs in those areas to define problems, shape solutions, and ship work that holds up. 

This is an end-to-end role. You lead discovery, define the interaction model, produce specs, and stay close through implementation. You're also expected to contribute to the systems and standards the whole team relies on. The Senior Product Designer will report to our Product Design Manager, and will work with our EU, UK and US based designers. You're part of a distributed team, so async clarity and proactive communication are as important as craft.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design of complex AI-powered interactions in your product cluster, accounting for trust, transparency, fallback states, and human-in-the-loop considerations
• Embrace the use of modern AI-based tools like Claude, Figma Make, Cursor, Vercel, Loveable or equivalent not as theatre, but as a meaningful multiplier to your workflow.
• Partner with our UX research team to lead interviews, usability tests, and competitive analysis and translate findings into clear product direction and guidance
• Develop presentations, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design intent across web and mobile surfaces.
• Partner with PMs to shape requirements and with engineers to protect design intent through delivery
• Contribute to Showpad's design systems — adding components, documenting patterns, raising consistency across product areas
• Communicate design rationale through strategic storytelling: you can walk a PM, an engineer, and a senior stakeholder through the same decision and each one gets what they need
• Establish scalable AI-assisted workflows for your own work — research synthesis, rapid prototyping, concept generation — and help others on the team use them effectively
• Deliver UX solutions that measurably improve the core workflows of our target users.
• Produce artifacts and organize workshops and research for both formative and evaluative studies.

 

What we are looking for

You have 5+ years of product design experience and a portfolio of shipped enterprise or B2B SaaS work. You take full ownership of complex, ambiguous problem spaces and deliver strong work without needing the brief handed to you. You define the UI/UX standards for your area rather than just operating within existing ones. You think in systems — considering how an isolated design decision ripples across the broader product — and you contribute meaningfully to the design system, not just consume it.

You're a confident facilitator. You can lead a cross-functional workshop, guide it to productive outcomes, and debrief it clearly. You coach others on how to give and receive feedback, and you model that yourself.

You use AI tools fluently — not just to move faster, but to improve the quality of your research synthesis, prototyping, documentation and designs. You can evaluate AI outputs critically and help others on the team do the same. When working on AI-powered product surfaces, you understand the design considerations that make those experiences trustworthy and usable: explainability, confidence, fallback behavior, human control.

You're adaptable. You navigate ambiguity and shifting requirements without losing momentum, and you bring the team with you when things change. You're resilient under pressure without pretending things are fine when they're not.

About you:

• At least 5+ years of experience shipping products in B2B, and/or Enterprise SaaS companies with diversified product portfolios
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership across complex product problems, the problems you solved and the role you played in shaping the solutions.
• Expertise blending Claude Design & Code, Figma, Figma Make, Cursor, Vercel, Loveable or equivalent tools into your daily workflow.  
• Experience working with LMS products in a SaaS environment is a huge plus
• Energy, passion, and a healthy sense of humor
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the US and Europe
• Flexible and able to have sufficient hours of overlap in order to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
