1745 - SOCPAC Liaison Officer

Sigma Defense is seeking a SOCPAC Liaison Officer to join our team on-site at Camp Smith in Hawaii. This position is in the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO), Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASW(SO/LIC)). The ASW(SO/LIC) serves as the principal civilian advisor and assistant to the Secretary of War and has statutory responsibility for overseeing special operations-peculiar administrative matters pertaining to the readiness and organization of special operations forces (SOF), resources and equipment, and civilian personnel.

Liaison Officer (LNO) will work within the SSO’s Capability Development and Innovation (CD&I) Global Strategic Partnerships Team. LNOs served as the embedded forward-deployed subject matter expert and force multiplier for SSO. The LNO will advise and assist CD&I in meeting critical capability gaps for SOF end users and decision-makers in the theater. The LNO will advise and assist the Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) staff on the integration of emerging technologies and will support interoperability and rapid fielding of capabilities to SOF, as required by the Command.
