Senior Project Scheduler (5478)

SMX is looking for a Senior Project Scheduler to support our elite team in the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Office. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of scheduling experience as part of the acquisition program. This is a hybrid role working from our customer site in Huntsville, AL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Gather data, establish, and maintain a Project Master Schedule for an Army Aviation Acquisition Program utilizing Primavera. Coordinate and align inputs from participating groups.
• Conducting schedule analysis and assessments to ensure schedules are structured properly with complete network logic, are capable of reporting critical path(s), and follow industry scheduling best practices. 
• Conduct trend analysis, baseline vs current, margin assessment, cost/schedule risk assessments, duration compression and health checks.
• Tracking schedule progress and developing custom reports/metrics 
• Providing guidance and recommendations on schedule work-arounds and recovery plans for customers to make effective decisio
