Special Activities Project Manager

SMX is seeking a Project Manager to join the integrated program management office (PMO) in a leadership position supporting SOCPAC logistics projects, and will serve as a liaison with government points of contact. The ideal candidate will assist the program leadership team with administrative oversight, operations coordination, and collaborate with multiple commercial vendors to achieve the overall mission objectives.

This position requires a DoD TS/SCI security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct financial oversight and execution of contracting functions for all project requirements; creating cost estimates, developing statements of work, providing market research, submit contract deliverables
• Reports operational effort statuses, develops program/project-related documentation, implements lessons learned, and updates and maintains production and quality metrics for assigned projects
• Supports operational planning, execution, and evaluation of a multi-faceted program that requires collaboration with customers
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the government’s program managers
