The State Community Organizer builds and maintains relationships with community members, leaders, and partners. Identifies opportunities for community involvement and ways to support the Center's mission. They also engage allies in campaigns and advocacy efforts on a local and state level. This position will work from West Georgia 100% of the time, which includes but not limited to the following counties: Chattahoochee, Meriwether, Quitman, Randolph, Stewart, Talbot, Sumpter, and Doughtery (Albany). 

Who You Are

Experienced. Demonstrated experience organizing communities, building grassroots networks, and cultivating strong partnerships with community leaders and organizations.

Call to Action: You know how to move people from awareness to action through strategic outreach, leadership development, volunteer engagement, and advocacy campaigns.

Disciplined: A self-starter who thrives with autonomy, takes initiative, and consistently follows through.

Data Informed: Establish short- and long-term goals, track progress, and continuously improve organizing strategies.
