CNC MACHINIST (MATERIALS LABS)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a variety of machine shop equipment including, but not limited to; CNC mill (horizontal and vertical spindle), CNC lathe, wire EDM, manual mill/lathe, waterjet, and all other typical machine shop equipment
- Support mechanical test lab with metallic test specimen machining for tensile and fracture toughness, as well as fixture machining/repair
- Perform product inspection and rework as required
- Read and interpret engineering drawings with an understanding for drawing symbols, flag notes, and general notes
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of production machinery
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of professional experience running CNC vertical milling centers, CNC turning centers or wire EDM
