Frontend Engineer

Team Summary

Our team builds a modern web platform for ML data annotation. We specialize in high-performance frontend interfaces, interactive canvas tooling, and efficient data workflows. We operate as a small, tight-knit team with strong written conventions, strict linting and type checks, a dedicated component book for every UI element, and an architecture doc as our single source of truth. We embrace AI-assisted development as a standard part of our daily workflow, focusing on quality, small reviewed PRs, and modern practices.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer who enjoys taking full ownership of features end-to-end — from API integration and state management to complex UI interactions. In this role, you will work on both greenfield features in a cutting-edge stack (Svelte) and support legacy projects. You will have a real impact on our architecture, conventions, and canvas-based interaction tooling, working beyond standard CRUD applications.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and solid background with modern reactive frameworks like Svelte, React, or Vue
• Proven track record in SPA architecture, complex state management, and REST API integration
• Strong knowledge of modern CSS and Tailwind CSS
• Hands-on experience with unit and browser testing methodologies
• Proficiency with Git and standard developer workflows
• Excellent written communication: reading and understanding context before writing code, asking clarifying scope questions, and taking review feedback constructively
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with Canvas APIs, WebGL, or Konva
• Practical knowledge of OAuth2, accessibility (a11y), and NodeJS
• Familiarity with Vite, Bun, and AWS
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and data-dense UI/UX
