Do you enjoy practical mechanical work, solving technical problems and helping to keep production running safely and reliably? We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team.
In this role you will perform first-line mechanical maintenance on production equipment. Your work includes inspections, fault diagnosis, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance in accordance with approved procedures and work orders.
You will independently resolve mechanical faults within your level of competence and support Engineering and other technical specialists during more complex breakdowns and repairs. You will coordinate your activities with Production to minimise disruption and ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and accurately documented.
In this role, you will:
Perform first-line mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment;
Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to restore safe and reliable operation;
Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with approved work orders and schedules;
Support Engineering and technical specialists during complex breakdowns
