Financial Accountant

With a strong focus to the future to deliver a strategic road map we are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our high performing Finance team. With Shared Service functions across the motu, we are open to whether this role is based in Wellington or Christchurch, what matters is your ability to work as part of our close-knit team, and the skill and industry experience you will bring.

What your day may include:
- Multi entity management, leading month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
- Supporting statutory reporting and audit requirements
- Preparation of GST, FBT and managing IRD queries
- Maintaining fixed asset registers
- Prepare complex balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitor, analyse and report cashflow performance
