Job Description

The Global Operations Analytics & Governance Lead supports Seeds R&D by providing the governance frameworks, performance insights, analytics, and decision-support capabilities required to drive operational performance and inform leadership decisions.

Reporting to the Global Operations Strategy Manager, this role helps drive operational effectiveness across Seeds R&D through governance, performance management, analytics, and decision support.

The role provides visibility to performance, demand, capacity, costs, risks, and planning assumptions, enabling informed business decisions and stronger operational execution. By connecting data, processes, and stakeholder needs, the role delivers insights and recommendations that improve planning quality, accuracy, resource allocation, and operational performance. The role supports proactive decision-making through capacity and demand balancing, constraint identification, and evaluation of planning tradeoffs, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities, portfolio requirements, and operational capabilities.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and deliver advanced operational analytics that provide visibility to demand, capacity, costs, productivity, utilization, and overall performance across Seeds R&D.
• Extract, consolidate, validate, and govern data from multiple systems to establish a trusted foundation for reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
• Define and maintain global standards for operational metrics, KPIs, business rules, reporting definitions, and planning assumptions.
• Create executive dashboards, scorecards, management reporting, and decision-ready materials that highlight performance trends, risks, constraints, opportunities, and priorities.
• Conduct trend analysis, forecasting, scenario modelling, and predictive analytics to support operational, resource, capacity, investment, and long-range planning decisions.
• Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, performance drivers, and data-quality issues; recommend actions that improve planning accuracy, resource allocation, and business outcomes.
• Lead governance processes and forums that align demand, capacity, resources, investments, portfolio priorities, and operational capabilities.
• Partner with Planning, Operations, Finance, Portfolio, and Digital teams to evaluate trade-offs, enhance analytics tools and reporting capabilities, and optimize operational performance.
• Translate planning assumptions, governance decisions, and complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making and support strategic initiatives that strengthen planning effectiveness, operational execution, and organizational capability.

Qualifications

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must reside in and be permanently authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. This includes, but is not limited to, OPT, CPT, and H-1B visa holders.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Operations Management, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, operational analytics, portfolio management, resource planning, financial analysis, strategy, business operations, or a related function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience transforming complex operational, financial, portfolio, or technical data into actionable business insights.
• Experience conducting trend analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, business case development, decision-support analysis, or performance management
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate operational, financial, and resource trade-offs and translate findings into recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with data extraction, consolidation, and reporting from multiple enterprise systems and databases.
• Experience working across complex, cross-functional organizations and influencing decisions without direct authority.
• Experience developing executive-level dashboards, reporting, KPI scorecards, performance management reporting, governance metrics, presentations, and decision-support materials.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex analyses and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and data analysis capabilities, including reporting, visualization, data modeling, validation, and automation, and business intelligence tools.
• Understanding of data governance, master data management, business rules, and reporting standards.
• Preferred experience with AI-assisted analytics, Python scripting, Streamlit, Power BI, SQL or equivalent data query languages, and business intelligence tools to support data extraction, automation, visualization, and decision-making.

Salary range for this position is $106,400 - $197,600 annually
