Job Description

This role is responsible for operating a variety of formulation equipment and performing both routine and non-routine production activities in a safe and efficient manner. The individual will support the formulation process by monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting operational issues with guidance when needed, and helping resolve production challenges. They will consistently utilize required personal protective equipment, including respirators and protective clothing, to maintain a safe working environment. Additionally, the employee will follow established standard operating procedures to maintain formulation batch cycle times and ensure production goals are met. Responsibilities also include operating a forklift, performing hand additions to formulation vessels, and maintaining flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts as required to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Mill base processes maintain at least 85% Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Participates in near miss/incident reporting and 5WHY/incident investigations.
• Lean idea generation and behavioral based safety observations are completed to promote continuous improvement in the formulation units.
• Follows and completes operator standard work for the formulation processes.
• Leads waste stream processes in production area, includes waste water (treatable/zero discharge), operating compactors (contaminated/recycler), drum crushing and monitoring contaminated roll-off containers.
• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior production, packaging or quality control experience desired.
