Job Description

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Project Manager to join our Supply Chain & Merchandising Technology team, reporting to the Supply Chain & Merchandising Portfolio Manager. This role is responsible for delivering projects across the European Supply Chain and Merchandising technology landscape, with a particular focus on applications impacted by network and infrastructure modernisation programmes and cyber compliance initiatives. It is essential that you speak Fluent French for this position.

This role is offering hybrid working with 3 days per week in the Hemel Hempstead, or Ashford, Kent office, and as such a good degree of self-motivation and flexibility is required.

Working across multiple workstreams, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering projects on time, within scope and within budget. Success in this position will require strong stakeholder management, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams across Europe. As part of the role, you will work closely with French-based technical resources, including both internal teams and third-party vendors, making fluency in both English and French essential.

You will lead project delivery from initiation through to successful transition into business-as-usual operations, ensuring adherence to established governance standards and project management methodologies. Responsibilities will include maintaining project scope, managing risks, issues and dependencies, producing project reports and governance documentation, and ensuring all delivery activities align with European PMO standards. You will also build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle and supporting the successful implementation of business and technology change initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven end-to-end project management experience delivering complex technical projects within fast-paced and time-critical environments. Experience within areas such as demand planning, transportation, supply chain technologies or vendor engagement solutions would be highly advantageous. You will possess a strong understanding of business processes, change management and the management of multiple third-party system integrators. Experience deploying technology solutions across multiple sites and working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies is essential.

You will be a confident communicator with strong presentation skills and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The ability to negotiate, build consensus and influence stakeholders at all levels will be key to your success. We are looking for a self-motivated and flexible individual who is comfortable working in a hybrid environment and willing to travel regularly as required.

Candidates should be educated to degree level in a technology-related discipline or possess a minimum of five years' project management experience within a relevant industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic European technology team and contribute to the successful delivery of business-critical transformation programmes.
