Role: Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager
Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (3 days/week in office)
Salary: $130,000 - $165,000
Job Overview:
IG North America (tastytrade, tastyfx, tastylive) is seeking a Manager, Analytics and Business Intelligence to join our Data team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will lead a team of analysts while remaining hands-on in delivering insights that drive strategic business decisions across the organization. You will own the Tableau environment end-to-end and serve as the primary analytics partner to Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance, with direct ownership of the marketing analytics relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of 3-4 data analysts through mentorship, performance management, and career development
- Execute critical analytics projects while overseeing team deliverables across the organization
- Partner in developing and managing the analytics roadmap, aligned with business priorities and team capacity
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks in Tableau, holding the team to a consistent standard of design and data quality
- Own the Tableau environment: published data model governance, license and license-tier management, permissioning, and the roadmap for platform capabilities such as Tableau Pulse
- Serve as primary analytics partner to Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance, with direct ownership of the marketing analytics relationship (attribution, campaign performance, marketing measurement)
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that stakeholders can implement immediately
- Partner with Data Engineering to ensure data availability and quality for analytics use cases
- Grow stakeholder adoption of analytics products and influence alignment across teams without direct authority
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence
- 2+ years of people management experience, or demonstrated readiness for management
- Proven track record delivering high-impact analytics projects in fast-paced environments
- Marketing analytics background required - attribution modeling, campaign performance measurement, or media mix concepts
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation
- Strong experience with Tableau at an administrator/publisher level (data source governance, permissions, server administration), not just report-building
- Financial services or fintech experience preferred
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance individual contribution and team leadership
Discretionary Performance Bonus: 8-12% of base salary based on individual and company performance.
