Heating Ventilation and Air- Conditioning (HVAC) Controls Technician applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. Work requires Building Automation to set up, troubleshoot, repair, test and calibrate electronic components for EMCS (Energy Management Control System) computer control; troubleshoot, maintain, modify and repair heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems and equipment. Building Automation will have a thorough understanding of Psychometrics, the psychometric chart as it relates to air temperature and humidity.
