Technical Writer
TechFlow is seeking a Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist to support a mission-critical DoD software development and modernization program in Montgomery, AL. This program provides software development and technical support services to sustain, enhance, and optimize a critical customer system through secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
The Technical Writer will develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive technical documentation supporting the full software development lifecycle, including system design, software architecture, user documentation, operational procedures, and acquisition artifacts. Working closely with software engineers, architects, database administrators, DevSecOps engineers, testers, and program leadership, this role will ensure technical documentation is accurate, current, well organized, and compliant with Department of Defense documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation supporting software development, system sustainment, acquisition activities, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain software requirements documentation, business use cases, functional specifications, process workflows, system design documents, architecture diagrams, database schemas, and data dictionaries.
