Senior Consultant - Workforce Analytics & Human Capital

POSITION OVERVIEW
Technical Assent is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant - Workforce Analytics & Human Capital to support high-visibility workforce and organizational assessments. This role will analyze workforce capacity, processes, organizational structure, and operational performance to develop practical, data-driven recommendations for government clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead workforce, workload, and capacity assessments across divisions.
- Analyze staffing levels, workload demand, productivity, organizational structure, roles, and resource requirements.
- Conduct process mapping, organizational development, and organizational design assessments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and organizational gaps.
- Develop data-driven staffing models, workforce analyses, and recommendations.
- Collect, validate, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, working sessions, and research to understand operational challenges and requirements.
- Translate complex findings into clear recommendations, reports, presentations, and executive briefings.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable process-improvement methodologies
- Work independently with senior government stakeholders and provide guidance to junior analysts.
- Lead development of analytical tools, methodologies, and deliverables

Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must be located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and able to work onsite as required.
- 7+ years of professional experience, preferably in management consulting, workforce analysis, organizational effectiveness, or operational analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong management consulting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with process mapping, organizational development, and organizational design.
- Experience analyzing complex organizational and operational issues and developing practical recommendations.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Workforce analysis experience.
- Experience conducting quantitative research, including sampling methodologies and data collection.
- Workforce planning, workload modeling, staffing analysis, or capacity planning experience.
- Experience leading federal government or large-enterprise organizations.
- Lean Six Sigma or comparable process-improvement experience.
- Experience leading or mentoring analysts or consulting teams.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Close vision is required.
