Technomar Shipping Inc. is seeking a dedicated Assistant Superintendent Engineer to join our Technical department. As an Assistant Superintendent Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall maintenance and operation of our vessels.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Superintendent Engineer in overseeing the technical operations of assigned vessels.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure vessels are operating efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field
Previous experience working in a technical role within the shipping industry
Strong knowledge of container vessel operations and maintenance
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Proficiency in relevant software and technical tools
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in written and spoken English
