WWL-TV, the Tegna CBS affiliate in New Orleans, is looking for a part-time, temporary traffic reporter for our morning show. We are looking for an engaging personality who can give updates on traffic -- where it's running smoothly and where delays exist -- during the morning newscasts. The ideal candidate will deliver information as though they're in a conversation with viewers, understanding the most important things they need to know as they head out on their morning routines.
Responsibilities:
Weekday traffic anchor for the entirety of the morning show, 5am - 9am
Making sure that impactful traffic situations are relayed to the story desk for push alerts and stories
Making the morning show producers aware when traffic needs to play bigger due to breaking acc
