Safety and Certification Engineer (EGNOS Safety-of-Life Services)

We provide a significant contribution to the most major Space programs of the European Space Agency, EUSPA and other Telespazio Groups. Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.
We will soon be looking for a highly enthusiastic Safety and Certification Engineer who will work in Toulouse, France.
Candidates must be eligible for a security personal clearance from an EU Member State national security administration
What is expected from you:
- Seniority Level at least 10 years of experience relevant for the Tasks.
- Monitor and verify the continuous compliance of EGNOS SoL services against applicable safety, certification, and regulatory standards.
- Support the maintenance of safety cases and oversee the implementation of service provision plans throughout the service lifecycle.
- Define, maintain, and update certification requirements for system and service evolutions, ensuring their proper implementation during design, development, operations, and service provision activities.
- Maintain the aviation certification framework supporting EGNOS Safety-of-Life services and contribute to the development of certification frameworks for new application domains, including Rail, Maritime, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
- Liaise with stakeholders involved in SoL service provision and certification activities, including EUSPA, ESA, EASA, the European Commission, and EGNOS service providers.
- Support safety management activities, including safety reviews, safety assessments, non-conformance evaluations, and safety governance meetings.
- Maintain the Design Safety Case documentation library and associated compliance evidence.
- Support EUSPA in fulfilling Design Organisation responsibilities, including maintaining Statements of Compliance and contributing to interactions with certification authorities, particularly EASA.
- Support the demonstration of compliance with Single European Sky (SES) regulatory requirements for approved Design and Production Organisations.
