About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Center Technician to join our team during an exciting phase of growth. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up new equipment used by our amazing customers to deploy the most advanced workloads on the planet, working closely with cross-functional partners to support business objectives while upholding our standards for excellence, collaboration, and impact.
This is an on-site role operating on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (days OR nights), with alternating 3-day and 4-day work weeks.
What You’ll Do
Installation, configuration, and testing up of new data center infrastructure
Perform maintenance and upgrades ensuring high reliability and performance standards
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain and enhance data center operations
Coordinate with local and remote teams to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects
Maintain meticulous records of installations, maintenance, and repairs, adhering to TensorWave's standards and protocols
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and data center management best practices during all on-site activities
Provide on-site technical support and guidance during critical incidents or outages as part of an on-call rotation
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in data center operations, with direct experience in hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including networking, servers, and storage systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to working as part of a national operations team.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (8AM–8PM or 8PM–8AM), alternating between 3-day and 4-day work weeks on a repeating cycle; candidates must be comfortable with either day OR night shifts as part of standard rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco)
Experience with GPUs
Experience with liquid cooling
