Job Description
UniAdmissions (www.uniadmissions.co.uk) is a leading provider of premium educational services and the world’s foremost Oxbridge admissions consultancy. In 2024, 67% of our students secured Oxbridge offers, compared to a national average of 18%.

We are at the forefront of a new generation of educational support, combining academic excellence with a highly personalised approach.

In 2023, UniAdmissions became part of the Testbusters group, a fast-growing international education and EdTech scale-up. Together, we are building a group that brings together excellence, accessibility, and innovation across multiple markets.

]]> As Head of Agent Relationships – Asia, you will report directly to the Managing Director and lead our partnerships with education agents across Asia, with a particular focus on the China market — turning potential leads into valued, long-term relationships and hitting your sales targets consistently.

You will take charge of this high-potential, underdeveloped area of our business: expanding our network of trusted agents, refining partnership strategy, and owning the full B2B sales cycle from first contact through to closing and account growth. This is a hands-on role with a clear mandate to build and scale our Asia agent network over the next 12–24 months.

We are looking for a commercially driven, ambitious individual with strong relationship-building skills and a bias for action. You will represent the business externally, lead partner conversations across time zones and cultures, and ensure we consistently convert opportunities into long-term, high-value relationships.

In this role you will be involved in all aspects of our B2B business, dealing with agents, strategic partners and much more:

  • Take ownership of our agent business across Asia — creating and implementing the strategy for this area, with a focus on China.

  • Take full accountability for achieving and exceeding your quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Map out, prospect, and close new agents and partnership opportunities to expand our network.

  • Deal with inbound B2B enquiries and convert them into paying clients.

  • Tailor pitches to address the needs of agent and corporate partners.

  • Host webinars for agents.

  • Carry out consultations with students who come through these agents.

  • Prepare quotes and proposals for prospective students.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including negotiations, and build long-term client relationships.

  • Follow up with leads to ensure you consistently meet your sales quota.

  • Attend weekly sales coaching sessions and receive formal training.

  • Collaborate with the Programme Managers to ensure all business clients receive exceptional service.

]]> Must have

  • A degree from a UK university in any discipline.

  • Good knowledge of the Chinese and/or wider Asian education/agent market.

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).

  • Demonstrable experience in a sales or partnership development role, ideally in a B2B or education setting.

  • Commercial mindset with clear ownership of targets and revenue outcomes.

  • Analytical approach, comfortable using CRM systems and sales data

  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to challenge constructively

  • Familiarity with UK higher education and admissions processes

Nice to have

  • An existing network of education agents in China or Asia.

  • Experience in education, tutoring, EdTech, or similar service-based sectors.

  • Experience scaling or managing a partnerships function.

  • Experience in high-ticket or consultative sales.

  • Familiarity with UK higher education and admissions processes.

  • Degree from Oxford or Cambridge (advantageous, not required).

]]>
  • Growth and progression — This role offers a clear path to senior leadership. As the Asia function scales, there is potential to grow into a broader regional commercial role. You will initially operate in a highly hands-on capacity while building a more structured network.

  • Compensation — Base salary: £45,000, plus an uncapped, performance-related bonus tied to sales.

  • Working structure — Full-time, two-year fixed-term role. Primarily remote, with in-person company training days approximately once per month. Travel across Asia (particularly China) as required.

  • ]]> Following initial screening and interviews, candidates will be asked to complete an assessment. This will be followed by a two-stage interview process:

    • Preliminary interview

    • Advanced interview focused on practical execution, including a business case presentation to senior leadership

    • Values and Behaviours interview, focused on alignment and ways of working
