Heavy Diesel Equipment Mechanics

Copper River Technologies is seeking experienced Journeyman Heavy Diesel Equipment Mechanics to support maintenance operations for NAVFAC in Crane, Indiana. This position supports the Navy’s 3M Maintenance Program and is responsible for independently performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles, construction equipment, generators, and support systems in a mission-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting and repair experience involving diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy construction equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy and light vehicles and equipment in accordance with Navy 3M Maintenance Program requirements
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components
• Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid replacements, brake repairs, tire repair/replacement, and electrical troubleshooting
• Inspect, test, and repair heavy tracked and wheeled construction equipment
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance documentatio
