Project Accountant

Copper River Shared Services is searching for a skilled Project Accountant to join in support of our family of companies. In this role, you will oversee project set-up and the ongoing management of Deltek direct projects. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a dynamic and expanding team that collaborates across multiple departments and plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and oversight. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical abilities and organizational expertise.

 Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Collaborate with program managers and the contracts department to establish projects in Costpoint and implement modifications as necessary.
• Oversee the internal approval workflow, ensuring the timely completion of project setup tickets.
• Provide project support for various contract types, including Fixed Price (FP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time & Materials (T&M), and Hybrid contracts.
• Work closely with Project Control, Program Managers, Contracts, and the accounting team to ensure project setup configurations align with billing, revenue recognition, and reporting requirements, as well as company policies.
