Technical Director of Ultrasound

Overview

This role is responsible for oversight of the Vascular Lab Department across The Vascular Care Group. This includes maintaining and implementing ultrasound workflows and protocols, monitoring and ensuring standards of quality are upheld, overseeing development of new sites, and training and supervision of ultrasound staff. All activities should be performed consistent with the Technical Director's education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards. 

This role will report to the Clinical Oversight Committee and the Director of Clinical Operations. 

This is a full-time, exempt role. Travel and administrative tasks are expected to comprise approximately 75% of the role. 

Responsibilities

• Act as resource for all ultrasound activities for physician leadership and management
• Standardize and maintain best practices for the work performed by ultrasound staff across the practice including documented standards to maximize workflow efficiency and ensure staff safety
• Collaborate with physicians and technologists to ensure delivery
