Job Description

Senior Marketing Operations Manager

Austin, TX | Hybrid Preferred or Remote

TogetherWork is looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to lead the execution, optimization, and continuous improvement of the systems, processes, data, and technology that support marketing across assigned products or verticals within our portfolio of 20+ software products.

This role will serve as a key Marketing Operations subject-matter expert, partnering closely with the Director of Performance Operations and cross-functional Marketing and Revenue Operations teams to implement scalable solutions that support integrated campaigns, lead management, attribution, reporting, nurture, outbound, and the broader buyer journey.

We're looking for someone who combines strong strategic Marketing Operations judgment with deep, hands-on HubSpot expertise. This individual should be comfortable independently developing operational solutions, managing complex initiatives, building workflows, troubleshooting integrations and data synchronization, configuring automation, and driving measurable improvements in marketing performance.

The Senior Marketing Operations Manager may own operational priorities, execution, and performance within assigned products or verticals, while aligning with the broader Marketing Operations strategy, enterprise standards, and priorities established by the Director. The role will also lead special projects delegated by the Director.

This is an individual contributor role with significant cross-functional influence and no direct people management responsibilities.

What You'll Do

  • Own Marketing Operations for Assigned Products or Verticals: Serve as the primary Marketing Operations partner for assigned products or verticals, taking accountability for operational execution, system effectiveness, performance, and continuous improvement. Translate business needs into scalable solutions aligned with broader departmental objectives.
  • Serve as a HubSpot Subject-Matter Expert: Provide advanced, hands-on HubSpot administration and technical expertise for assigned products or verticals within TogetherWork's shared enterprise environment. Build, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows, automation, lifecycle processes, integrations, data synchronization, forms, lists, and reporting in accordance with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
  • Develop and Implement Scalable Operational Processes: Partner with Marketing and Revenue Operations to develop, implement, and optimize the processes and workflows supporting integrated campaigns, lifecycle management, lead routing, scoring, nurture, outbound, landing pages, forms, and other marketing programs within assigned areas.
  • Drive Data Quality, Attribution, and Measurement: Collaborate with Analytics, Revenue Operations, and Marketing stakeholders to improve data integrity, attribution, funnel measurement, campaign reporting, and visibility into marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue. Own relevant operational KPIs and performance improvements for assigned products or verticals.
  • Implement and Maintain Operational Standards: Establish and maintain consistent processes, workflows, and documentation within assigned products or verticals, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide standards for campaign architecture, lifecycle stages, naming conventions, consent and preference management, automation, and platform usage established by the Director.
  • Enable Marketing Teams: Partner with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and other stakeholders to translate business and campaign requirements into effective operational solutions. Improve execution speed, consistency, system adoption, and marketer self-service within assigned areas.
  • Optimize the Buyer Journey: Identify and implement improvements across lead capture, qualification, routing, Marketing-to-Sales handoffs, nurture, and re-engagement to improve conversion, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Drive Automation and Operational Efficiency: Independently identify and execute opportunities to reduce manual processes, simplify workflows, improve data quality, strengthen integrations, and increase the efficiency and scalability of Marketing Operations.
  • Lead Complex Initiatives and Special Projects: Independently lead complex Marketing Operations initiatives and special projects delegated by the Director. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage timelines and deliverables, resolve operational challenges, and ensure successful implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Influence Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Drive results through technical expertise, collaboration, and influence across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Analytics, Product, and Technology teams without direct people management responsibilities.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Technology, or a related discipline, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Deep, hands-on HubSpot expertise, with the ability to independently build and troubleshoot complex workflows, automation, lifecycle processes, data synchronization, integrations, forms, lists, and reporting within a sophisticated enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B demand generation and revenue processes, including lifecycle management, lead management, scoring, routing, nurture, attribution, campaign operations, and Marketing-to-Sales handoffs.
  • Experience working across an integrated marketing technology ecosystem, including HubSpot, Salesforce, and connected reporting, enrichment, advertising, or other marketing platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own Marketing Operations execution, performance, and continuous improvement for assigned business units, products, verticals, or functional areas.
  • Strong understanding of marketing data, attribution, reporting, and operational KPIs, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical system improvements and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining scalable operational processes, workflows, and standards within a complex organization.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, make sound operational decisions, and independently lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience developing and executing operational roadmaps aligned with broader departmental strategies and organizational priorities.
  • Strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on technical execution, with the ability to recommend effective solutions and directly configure, test, troubleshoot, and optimize them.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability without direct people management authority.
  • Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex operational and technical topics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing business-critical systems, multiple priorities, and complex initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting a multi-product, multi-brand, or business-unit-based B2B organization.
  • Experience with HubSpot Enterprise features, including Business Units, custom objects, advanced workflows, attribution, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Experience with marketing analytics or BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with ABM, intent, enrichment, outbound, or sales engagement platforms.
