The Role
Bottomline is looking for a Project/Program Manager of Platform & Operations to grow with us in a Hybrid work environment out of our Pristina, Kosovo office!
This person must be able to work hybrid, with 2 days per week in our Pristina office!
The Bottomline Platform & Operations PMO is a Senior Project Manager who is ready to take the first step into program management. This entry-level Program Manager role will provide the opportunity to learn, build, and apply program management practices while supporting cross-functional initiatives across Platform & Operations and our broader business operations function. You will help drive value-creation and operational programs including migrations, infrastructure and platform upgrades, end-of-life and remediation initiatives, vulnerability management, business process improvements, and other strategic operations initiatives. You will work closely with business, operations, engineering, and vendor stakeholders to coordinate delivery, improve visibility, support timely decision-making, and contribute to impactful, cost-effective outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone with strong project management fundamentals who wants to grow into program management by expanding their experience across cross-functional delivery, business operations, governance, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence.
This role demands a collaborative, delivery-focused leader who can navigate ambiguity, drive decisions, and coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
How you’ll contribute:
- Program Management Development: Support cross-functional program delivery while building program plans, roadmaps, governance routines, and delivery practices aligned to strategic goals.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure programs align to business goals and maximize impact.
- Business and Operations Collaboration: Coordinate across business, operations, engineering, and vendor teams to support delivery, improve processes, and keep initiatives on track.
- Change Management: Drive adoption through change plans, training, and user support.
- Business Operations Support: Partner with operational leaders to support business routines, process improvement, governance input, reporting, and execution of operational priorities.
- Resource Management: Coordinate resources and budgets to meet program needs.
- Risk Management: Identify risks, implement mitigations, and adjust plans to minimize disruption.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet standards; run reviews and post-implementation lessons learned.
- Continuous Improvement: Track performance and feedback to identify and deliver enhancements.
- Reporting: Provide clear status updates and dashboards; track KPIs against objectives.
What will make you successful:
- Required: 5+ years of progressive project management experience in a technology, platform, infrastructure, operations, or business operations environment; senior project management experience is strongly valued.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Required: Proven delivery of complex projects or cross-functional initiatives, with exposure to migrations, upgrades, end-of-life/tech refresh, remediation, vulnerability management, process improvement, or business operations programs.
- Required: Strong project execution fundamentals, including project plans, RAID management, dependency tracking, stakeholder coordination, status reporting, and readiness to develop broader program governance and executive reporting skills.
- Preferred: Experience supporting business operations, operational governance, process improvement, reporting routines, or cross-functional operating rhythms.
- Preferred: Familiarity with security and risk concepts (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, patching cadence, remediation tracking, risk acceptance).
- Preferred: Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner; Agile certification (CSM/PSM or equivalent).
- Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA/MSc) or relevant postgraduate qualification.
